Presentation

The adhesion of Sweden to NATO, Russia's war in Ukraine and the forthcoming elections to the European Parliament raise questions about Europe's prospects in the short, medium and long term. His Excellency, the Swedish Ambassador to France, Håkan ÅKESSON, and Anna MICHALSKI, Professor at Uppsala University, Chair of the Swedish Network for European Studies in Political Science, invite us to share the Swedish perspective of Europe in a master class dedicated to the outlook on the European elections and EU affairs.

Speakers

• Håkan Åkesson, Ambassador of Sweden to France
• Anna Michalski, Associate Professor at the Department of Government, Uppsala University, and Associate Senior Researcher at the Swedish Institute for International Affairs. She is chair for the Swedish Network for European Studies in Political Science (SNES) and member of the Swedish Foreign Policy Society. Her teaching and research interests span over international relations and European politics, with a particular focus on EU foreign policy and foreign policy role of the Nordic countries
