Master in Economic Law, 2nd year: Business, Markets and Regulations

The Business, Markets and Regulations (EMR) specialisation is an extension of the courses taught during the first year of the Law School (Master's Degree in Economic Law), while orienting the specialization of the courses around two axes: company law (labor law, tax law, companies in difficulty, distribution law, company financing, etc.) and market and regulation law (competition law, environmental law, financial market law, regulation of specific sectors, etc.).

Based on an interactive pedagogy implemented in seminars that are led by recognized professionals, this legal training aims to be interdisciplinary by design. It places particular emphasis on economic, accounting and institutional knowledge.

The EMR specialty aims to train high-level lawyers intended to join the French Bar or the legal departments of large companies. This sector is complemented by an internship which is essential to the training.

The EMR specialty leads in a privileged way to structures which advise players in regulated sectors, in particular the competition and regulation departments of law firms, but also the legal departments of operators acting in regulated sectors, including banking for example, or the services of the professional organizations that defend them or, conversely, the services of the regulatory authorities.
