Students representing the three participating universities of this program form a cohort each year. GBLG students spend the fall semester at Columbia Law School, and, in the spring semester, continue their studies in Paris at both the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and Sciences Po. All instruction is in English.
The three partner universities also organize field trips to different American, French or European institutions, in order to complement instruction on the fundamental principles governing the functioning of jurisdictions and political bodies from each of the two countries. The program also addresses practical aspects of the professions for which students are destined, including visits to institutions, large law and consulting firms and participation in case resolution exercises.
Students will be awarded the Common Certificate of Achievement in Global Business Law and Governance and each student will receive their institution’s diploma.
Students are selected by each participating partner institution. Eight Sciences Po students participate in this program each year. Tuition fees are those of each institution.
