Research assistant with the laboratory of Claude Lévi-Strauss (Collège de France), fellow of Mario Einaudi Center for International Studies (Cornell) and of the Cambridge Group for the History of Social Structure, senior advisor to the ministries of justice and foreign affairs (France), research fellow at the Centre d’anthropologie (Collège de France), the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan and now the Centre d’Etudes Européennes (Center for European Studies) of Sciences Po, Paris.

Lecturer at the Ecole Nationale de la Magistrature (French National School of Magistrates), the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales, the European Academy of Legal Theory, the Consejo Superior del Poder Judicial (Madrid).

Visiting Professor at Tulane University School of Law, Cambridge University (Fitzwilliam College), and the universities of Barcelona and Tarragona (Spain) ; visiting lecturer at Yale University, Cornell Law School, the University of Chicago, New York University, Harvard Law School and other academic institutions.
