Becci, Vittoria

PhD Candidate, Researcher

Vittoria Becci is an Italian PhD candidate at Sciences Po Law School. She has a master's degree in Political Philosophy from Universidad Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona and a laurea magistrale in Law from Università Cattolica in Milano. Through law and literature, she has mainly explored themes of philosophy of law such as social and legal recognition with an analysis of the duel; and law and space in the novels of Kafka.

She also studied at the EHESS in Paris, the forms of the norm in language and images. Her interest in "alternative forms of normativity" led her to Sciences Po School of Law with a project on law and urban spaces -cities- that explores new possible legal infrastructures and/or the absence of them, especially through the study of private property.
