Sciences Po Law School is recruiting a Professor in European Law

The post holder will contribute to the intellectual life of the Law School through engaging in high quality teaching fostering a supportive environment for students, and participating actively in the wider activities of the School and the Sciences Po academic community. 

The candidate should demonstrate the ability to produce outstanding quality research in the field of EU law while engaging in contemporary debates on EU law scholarship and its critiques. She or he should be able to go beyond the traditional institutional understanding of Europe and of its law, carrying out thorough analyses of substantive parts of European law (we are particularly interested in candidates carrying research in areas such as EU environmental law, labour law, citizenship law, criminal law, migration law, economic law, external relations law, health law, constitutional or institutional EU law).

  • Private Law Contract
  • The candidate must hold a PhD in Law or its research equivalent. We are preferably looking for tenured professors at a mid-career stage.
  • Position beginning on January 2025
