PhD Candidate, Researcher
Thomas Windisch is a PhD candidate at Sciences Po Law School under the direction of Pr. Vincent Forray, in cotutelle with McGill University's Faculty of Law under the direction of Pr. Daniel Weinstock. He holds a bachelor's degree in law (2019) and an LL.M. (2021) from the University of Sherbrooke, and published a monograph entitled “La désobéissance civile mode(s) d'emploi”, with Presses de l'Université Laval (2023).
Recipient of a doctoral fellowship from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (2023-2026), he is also a member of the Quebec Bar (2022) and holds a Master 2 in legal theory and analysis from Université Paris Nanterre (2023), during which he began his current research on the relationship between Quebec civil law of evidence and modes of producing truth in a judicial context.
Provisional thesis title: The truth and nothing but the (judicial) truth! Epistemology of civil evidence in Quebec private law.
