About Sistema.bio
Sistema.bio is a social enterprise that sells small- scale biodigesters to smallholder farmers. These convert animal waste into biogas (a renewable energy source) and biofertilizer for crop production, providing in-house financing and capacity building for its customers. Sistema.bio increases farmer resilience to climate-related weather events by improving crop yields, increasing long-term soil health, and energy resilience. Sistema.bio has grown from a regional enterprise in Mexico to a global company with subsidiaries in Latin America, East Africa and India.
