Abel Solans, Walter-Zellidja Scholarship 2024-2025

Congratulations to Abel Solans, a doctoral student at the Centre of History (CHSP), on being awarded the Walter-Zellidja Scholarship from the Académie française for the year 2024-2025. This scholarship is awarded to French-speaking students at Grandes Écoles, universities, institutes, conservatoires or other higher education establishments who, in addition to their training in France, wish to undertake personal research exclusively abroad through a stay of approximately one year. Abel is currently preparing a thesis entitled "L'Exil d'Italiens en Tunisie et en Égypte (1870-1940): pris entre l'internationalisme, le transnationalisme et le colonialisme", under the supervision of M'hamed Oualdi.
