CIVICA Doctoral Conference 2023

Dear PhD Researchers,

You are invited to apply for the CIVICA Doctoral Conference on “How to prepare yourself for the academic job market”:

• When: 15-17 Nov. 2023
• Where: Central European University (CEU), Vienna campus
• What: training sessions on how to write cover letters and research proposals, how to give a job talk and how to do job interviewers, among other things
• Who is eligible: PhD researchers from any discipline at one of the CIVICA member universities who are in their penultimate or final year of the PhD at the time of the conference; and researchers who have completed a PhD at one of the CIVICA member universities within the past 12 months at the time of the conference
• Application deadline: 12 May 2023
