Getting prepared for teaching for the first time, ahead of 23/24 spring semester

The Institute for Skills and Innovation is offering a new session of its PhD students training programme, ahead of the 23-24 spring semester.
Objectives
This seminar is devoted to teaching in higher education. Its aim is to help doctoral students design and implement their first courses.
The programme is organised around 9 themes:
- Preparing a course
- Facilitating sessions
- Assessing students’ learning
- Teaching for the first time: finding your teaching style, choosing your posture
- Sciences Po's digital teaching ecosystem / Useful teaching resources
- Designing and sharing teaching resources
- Incorporating podcasts into teaching
- Wooclap discovery level
- Generative AI (ChatGPT) and education
Calendar and registrations
The programme's training sessions and workshops will be held during the week of 16 to 20 October 2023, then on 2 and 3 November 2023. They will be given in French and will be held in a hybrid format, at the Learning Lab or in Zoom (as chosen by the participants).
Participants can register online via a dedicated ticketing service, which details the proposed slots (theme, date, time and place).
