Academic Integrity and Online Training
Sciences Po closely monitors respect for ethics, scientific and academic integrity, and provides you with support and training on these crucial issues.
Intellectual honesty is required throughout your university path: in your academic work (written, oral, visual, individual, collective), your exchanges with professors and the Sciences Po administration, and in your internships or work-study missions.
To support your success in your master's and doctoral studies, you must follow as of now, if you have not already done so, the academic integrity online training.
This mandatory training, taught in French and English, includes 5 fundamental thematic modules (varying in length from 3 to 25 minutes) which can be viewed independently and as many times as needed during your studies:
- Module 1: Academic integrity, what is at stake?
- Module 2: Quoting and referencing sources correctly
- Module 3: Identifying breaches of academic integrity
- Module 4: Academic integrity regulatory framework
- Module 5: Good working practices to avoid fraud
As the methods of academic writing and referencing sources differ from one language to another, we strongly recommend that you follow this training in both French and English.
To start the training, via Moodle, please click on the link below using your Sciences Po login and password: Academic Integrity Training - Students
In addition, a page dedicated to academic integrity on the Students’ site (section: "Study"), provides reference texts to be read, including the Academic Integrity Charter, Sciences Po’s Academic Rules and Regulations (revised on July 2, 2024) and other useful methodological resources (E-College, workshops, tutorials and learning guides from the Sciences Po Library, the School of Research and Sciences Po's Scientific Integrity Referent).
It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with all of this information and to take the online training course.
