Research at Sciences Po: Annual activity report 2023
What did research at Sciences Po produce and undertake in 2023?
That is the purpose of this report, which sets out the main directions taken by research at Sciences Po in 2023, supported by results, publications and meetings. As in previous years, it testifies to the dynamism, originality and richness of the work carried out at Sciences Po.
It highlights the creation of The Institute for Environmental Transformations and The Open Institute for Digital Transformations. These institutes spearhead the project - Transforming Interdisciplinary Education and Research for Evolving Democracies (TIERED, funded by France 2030). A ten-year partnership between Sciences Po and eight French academic institutions (CNRS, IDDRI, IFREMER, INALCO, INED, INSERM, INRIA and the University of Paris), its aim is to study the social, political and economic implications of environmental and technological transformations, and develop recommendations for the public and private sectors. The research projects of two assistant professors in sociology at Sciences Po, Philipp Brandt and Zachary van Winkle, winners of European Research Council grants, will also be presented.
