Welcome sessions of the School of Research, 2024/2025 year

Meetings for new Masters students

Immediately after the Welcome sessions, this initial exchange will be followed by a meeting specific to your Master's degree, organised by your Director of Studies. 

Specific meetings for each master's course starting at 5pm 
 

  • Economics -  Professor Philippe Combes: Room H405 at 28 rue des Saints Pères
     
  • History - Professor Marion Fontaine: Room 900 at 9 rue de la Chaise
     
  • Political Science - Professor Thierry Balzacq, amphitheatre Chapsal
     
  • Sociology - Professor Jérôme Pelisse: Room 931 at 9 rue de la Chaise

And a meeting for each major (political science) starting at 5pm
 

  • Political Behavior - Professor Romain Lachat: Room E.104 at 30 rue Saint Guillaume
     
  • Comparative Politics - Professors Laurence Louër and Caterina Froio: Room C.S13 at 1 place Saint Thomas d'Aquin 
     
  • Public Policy - Professor Philippe Bezes: Room 502 at 199 bd St-Germain 

Please note that for the majors listed below, the presentation meeting will not take place on the same day as the start of the academic year:

  • General Track - Professor Colin Hay: 2 September 2024 from 14:45 to 16:45 in room J210 at 13 rue de l'Université.
     
  • International Relations - Professor Chiara Ruffa: 3 September 2024 from 14:45 to 16:45 in room 404 at 56 rue des Saints-Pères
     
  • Political Theory - Professor Astrid von Busekist: 2 September 2024 from 14:45 to 16:45 in room 900, 9 rue de la Chaise

Meeting for new doctoral students

An informal discussion will be held from 5pm with the Dean and part of her team in the School of Research meeting room (Room E207) on the 1 Saint Thomas campus.
