CALL FOR APPLICATIONS TEACHING FELLOWSHIPS 2025-2026 ACADEMIC YEAR
Sciences Po welcomes applications from post-doctoral and doctoral students who are in the final phases of their PhD for one-year teaching positions on one of three English-speaking undergraduate campuses in France: Le Havre, Menton or Reims. Each campus provides the core undergraduate curriculum of Science Po in addition to a geographic specialisation in international relations study, culminating in a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Sciences and Humanities. Coursework in Economics, History, Law, Political Science, Political Theory, Sociology and Quantitative Methods applied to Social Sciences is taught in English. The area of expertise of successful applicants will be relevant to the disciplines taught at Sciences Po and to the regional focus of each campus. Given the international nature of the Teaching Fellowship, applications from Sciences Po university partners are strongly encouraged.

Full-time, Assistant Professor (tenure-track) position beginning on September 1st 2025.
The successful candidate will be affiliated to the Center for Research on social InequalitieS (CRIS). The center is committed to theory-driven empirical research on social inequality, drawing on a diversity of qualitative and quantitative methods, adopting a variety of lenses (micro, meso, macro) and promoting interdisciplinarity for an integrated approach to the study of inequality in the social sciences. Our research program seeks to measure patterns and trends of inequality, analyze their underlying mechanisms, inform public debates and contribute to policy analysis. Our faculty members are international experts on central social inequality domains, such as education, life course dynamics, labor market and economic inequalities, social mobility, welfare states, urban segregation, migrations, discriminations, cultural consumption, digital, health, and environmental inequalities.

Le programme Climat, sécurité et énergie recherche un(e) assistant(e) de recherche en stage pour appuyer les chercheurs de l’Observatoire Défense et Climat. Dans le cadre de ce stage, l’assistant(e) de recherche travaillera principalement sur la géopolitique des changements climatiques et les implications sécuritaires associées. Une partie conséquente des recherches seront effectuées sous la direction de Mathilde Jourde, chercheuse au sein de l’Observatoire Défense et Climat.

Appel à candidature relatif au programme d’échange franco-allemand d’assistants parlementaires stagiaires à Berlin (2025-2026)
Mis en œuvre par le ministère chargé de l’enseignement supérieur et de la recherche, l’Assemblée nationale, l’Office allemand d’échanges universitaires (DAAD), l’Université Humboldt de Berlin et le Deutscher Bundestag, le programme d’échange franco-allemand d’assistants parlementaires stagiaires (PEAPS) offre à cinq étudiants français la possibilité d’effectuer un séjour de dix mois à Berlin. Il comporte une période d’études à l’Université Humboldt, puis un programme d’activités au Bundestag comprenant un stage de trois mois auprès d’un parlementaire allemand. Le PEAPS s’inscrit dans le cadre du "Stage parlementaire international" (IPS – Internationales Parlaments-Stipendium) du Bundestag.

[PhD Position] This is a three-year fixed-term position as part of the DFG-funded third-party project, “ConspiRacism: Untangling the Knot Between Population Replacement Conspiracy Theories and Race, Gender, Sexuality, and Class.” This research project aims to empirically examine the history, intellectual origins, political mobilization, and digital dissemination of conspiracy theories that claim the replacement of the European population by Muslims and migrants in Germany and France. It will explore the complex conceptual and historical connections between population replacement conspiracy theories and racism, as well as how gender, sexuality, and class intersect and are utilized in shaping these narratives. The selected PhD candidate is expected to develop and pursue a doctoral research project focused on the emergence and articulation of the "Great Replacement" conspiracy theory in France.

Contexte de l’étude " Conditions de travail et santé des parents pendant la première année après la naissance d’un enfant, une étude mixte longitudinale ". Menée par une équipe interdisciplinaire d'Unisanté et de l'HESAV, cette étude a pour objectifs de comprendre et mesurer l’influence des conditions de travail sur la santé des parents durant la première année de vie de l’enfant dans le contexte suisse. De méthodes mixtes, l’étude comprend trois volets : 1) entretiens qualitatifs auprès de parents ; 2) questionnaires auprès de parents avec un design longitudinal ; 3) focus groups.

While the research theme remains open, Sciences Po seeks a candidate with specialized proficiency in International Relations (IR), capable of contributing to IR theoretical, empirical, and methodological debates, coupled with a robust regional expertise.
