Exhibition Art, Nature, and the City
This group project, led by four first-year students from the Governing Ecological Transitions in Cities Master programme (GETIC), is part of the “Nature in the City” project, funded by the Gerard B. Lambert Foundation. The project aims to create space for interdisciplinary and cooperative initiatives focused on urban landscapes. It embarks on a visionary exploration of the intricate relationship between urban environments and the natural world, seeking to unravel the complex interactions between human societies, urban development, and biodiversity preservation (Esther Rogan, Sciences Po Institute for the Arts and Creation).
This exhibition addresses their central question: "To what extent can local public policies mobilize the arts to meet the challenges of the ecological transition?"
The students created an exhibition of nine panels in collaboration with illustrator Mathilde Riou, a graphic facilitator, to take a didactic approach to their findings and to question the character of Cléo. The exhibition was installed during Lab Day 2024 in the 1 St Thomas Campus cloister.
The students of the GETIC’s Master programme: Tom Chourreau, Philippine Ciupe, Marie Coperet, Justine Weber
