Presentation

On 1 January 2023, Sweden took over the Presidency of the Council of the European Union for six months. It has placed six priorities at the heart of its commitments: security, competitiveness, green and energy transitions, democratic values and the rule of law. Christian Danielsson, Swedish State Secretary for European Affairs, will talk about Sweden's challenges in an Europe going through great transitions.

• Christian Danielsson is the Swedish State Secretary for EU affairs
• Olivier Rozenberg (moderator) is Associate Professor at Sciences Po within the Centre for European Studies and Comparative Politics. He specialised in legislative studies, European studies and in the role of parliaments in the governance of the EU. He is Scientific Advisor for the Master in European Affairs.
