27 rue Saint-Guillaume, 75007, ParisIn the context of the ongoing war in Ukraine, a conference with Vladimir Milov, a leading member of the Russian democratic opposition. An economist and energy expert, he will analyse Moscow’s military performance in Ukraine, and discuss economic and political consequences for the Putin regime and for society.
Vladimir Milov is a leading member of the Russian democratic opposition and a former deputy minister of Energy of Russia (2001-2002). He is an adviser to Russian opposition leader Alexey Navalny. He is the co-author, with Boris Nemtsov et al., of Putin. Corruption (2011), and recently published Why Sino-Russian Economic Cooperation Is Not Working (Martens Centre for European Studies, 2021).
Following his presentation, Vladimir Milov will engage in a discussion with the audience which will be chaired by Marie Mendras, political scientist with CNRS and Sciences Po's Center for International Studies (CERI), and a Professor at Sciences Po.
