Library

With more than one million documents in its print collections, its vast range of digital resources and its archive holdings, the Sciences Po Library is recognised as a reference in the field of social sciences in France and internationally.

Serving Sciences Po students, teachers and researchers, as well as numerous external readers from all over the world, the Library provides an exceptional collection, both in print (22% of documents are unique in France) and in digital form, enhanced by selections in the reading room and online, subject guides and documentary dossiers, as well as the Sciences Po Digital Library.

The Library facilitates access to information for all. It supports all its users by offering them a range of personalised services, whether in terms of equipment, information, research or training. Accessibility of its premises, collections and equipment to readers with disabilities is a particular concern. It supports research at Sciences Po in terms of data management, publication and dissemination of work, particularly through open access on SPIRE.

In keeping with the ethos of Sciences Po, the library’s collections are highly international, containing 60 % foreign language documents. The library functions as a network across the seven campuses of Sciences Po.
