"Breathe meaning into chaos."

After the first days of mourning and contemplation following the terrorist attacks on 13 November, Sciences Po has decided to devote the morning of 18 November to discussion and exchange in all scheduled classes.

This decision was made to “extend the possibility of dialogue to all students”, as Sciences Po President Frédéric Mion explained in a letter to students. He concluded his letter as follows: “In these dark times, your professors are here to teach you about complex societies, to help you relate Syria with the world, to analyse radicalism and democracy with you, to breathe meaning into chaos. That is our response: a combatant humanism, the humanism of the university. And that is why, faced with the threat of oblivion, Sciences Po will always keep its doors open.”
