Diplomatic role plays on the Menton campus
From April 1 to 3, the Sciences Po campus in Menton hosted students from all over the world for the fourth edition of the "Mediterranean Model United Nations" (MEDMUN), a simulation of a United Nations summit.
The theme of this year’s simulation was “Water: the common resource precipitating global division”. This subject gave rise to three days of cross-disciplinary debate and negotiations about development, jobs, the environment, food, institutions and political transition. Hear from students, academics and diplomats participating in the simulation.
The Menton campus hosts 200 students enrolled in the Middle Eastern and Mediterranean undergraduate programme. During the first two years, they study social sciences (political science, economics, history, law and sociology) with a focus on the Middle East. They spend their third year abroad, either doing an internship or studying at one of Sciences Po’s 470 partner universities.
