Ministry of Ecological Transition thesis prize 2024
The Ministry of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion has announced the winners of the first edition of the Ministerial Thesis Prize. This prize, dedicated to the ecological transition, was created a few months ago on the occasion of the Fête de la Science, and aims to strengthen the links between the scientific world and the administration for the benefit of public action, and to reward the excellence of work in this field.
The prize is open to holders of a doctorate degree less than two years old in the fields of sustainable development, adaptation to climate change, protection of nature and biodiversity, prevention of natural and technological risks, mobility, transport and infrastructure, housing, urban planning and development, sustainable resource management and the future of the sea.
Congratulations to Maël Ginsburger, PhD in sociology at the Centre for Research on Social Inequalities (CRIS), for winning 2nd prize exæquo, for his thesis entitled "L'écologie en pratiques. Consommation ordinaire et inégalités en France depuis les années 1980".
