Sciences Po launches an Executive Master for General Counsels

Sciences Po has launched an Executive Masters programme aimed at General Counsels who often hold strategic positions but lack the dedicated training. With courses taught by professionals and Sciences Po professors in both French and English, as well as a study trip abroad, this is a real opportunity for students to join the international business community.

The programme will allow French and international General Counsels with at least ten years of experience to be fully active and efficient in the strategy and management of the firm.

This 38 day long training programme is a mix of theory and practical experience such as masterclasses, workshops and seminars. It aims to understand the strategic issues of companies and how they use their General Counsels, making their role more compatible with the business world. Students will acquire real skills in management  in order to know how to lead a team and improve its efficiency.

Giving General Counsels the skills to better integrate in their companies

This training programme was created at the behest of the Montesquieu Circle. Christophe Jamin, Dean of the Sciences Po School of Law, explains : “Our collaboration with the Montesquieu Circle has numerous advantages. The expertise and the reputation of Sciences Po Executive Education and School of Law, enhanced by the experience of Montesquieu Circle distinguished practitioners, offer a high-standard programme strongly rooted in reality, which takes into account the multiple aspects of the General Counsel’s functions in firms.
