"Standing together to defend our common civilisation"

The four representatives of the Tunisian National Dialogue Quartet were at Sciences Po on Tuesday, 8 December 2015, invited by the winter university of the Paris Bar Association. Two days later, the four organisations that form the Quartet received the 2015 Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo for their role as architects of the democratic transition in Tunisia. The prize rewards their decisive contribution to a process that resulted in presidential and legislative elections and the ratification of the new constitution in 2014.

Representatives of the quartet at Sciences Po on 8 December:

  • Mohamed Fadhel Mahfoudh, President of the Tunisian Order of Lawyers,
  • Abdessatar Ben Moussa, President of the Tunisian Human Rights League,
  • Houcine Abassi, Secretary General of the Tunisian General Labour Union,
  • Ouided Bouchamaoui, President of the Tunisian Confederation of Industry, Trade and Handicraft
