Thinking of studying French this summer?

The Summer School, held on the Paris campus during the months of June and July, is a unique opportunity for students to spend a summer studying at Sciences Po. The Summer School proposes two academic tracks: social sciences and French language.

The French language track is an intensive language-learning programme, with 70 contact hours over the course of a session.  Students are placed at one of six levels of French, from complete beginner to advanced, and take a variety of classes adapted to their level. At all levels, language study accounts for the majority of class time, reinforced by oral and written expression workshops, Outdoor French classes, and tutorials. Students benefit from Sciences Po’s expertise in the social sciences thanks to language courses that draw on current issues in France and Europe. Additionally, students who choose to study French language at the Summer School have the unique advantage of learning at one of France’s leading universities while being immersed in the daily routines of life in Paris.

This video is part of a series created by the Summer School 2015 student interns on life at the Summer School both in and outside of the classroom.
