The programme of events offered at Sciences Po in 2022 is, once again, particularly rich and varied. War in Ukraine, international relations, French elections, culture... Most of the conferences which gathered our academic community and our prestigious guests in the past few months, are available on replay. Here are a few highlights.

In front of packed lecture halls adorned with blue and yellow flags, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky conversed for more than an hour on Wednesday 11 May 2022 with several hundred students all over France. Read more.
Elena Zhemkova, Doctor Honoris Causa of Sciences Po
On Tuesday 21 June, as part of events to mark Sciences Po’s 150-year anniversary, Mathias Vicherat, in the name of Sciences Po, awarded Elena Zhemkova an honorary doctorate from the university, in a ceremony attended by many members of the permanent faculty. As the executive director of Memorial International, she agreed to receive this distinction on behalf of the organisation as a whole. The replay is available in French only. Read more.
Youth & Leaders Summit 2022
Organised by Sciences Po’s Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA), the 7th edition of the Youth & Leaders Summit was dedicated to “Inclusion for the Common Good: Protecting the Planet and Improving Lives”. Over 15 distinguished guest speakers gathered, from all over the world, including diplomats, practitioners and academics, to exchange with students. Read more.
The Geopolitical Implications of the War in Ukraine
This conference was organised to analyse the profound geopolitical implications of the war in Ukraine. The discussion featured Mircea Geoana, Deputy Secretary General of NATO; Pascal Lamy, former Director General of the WTO, President of the Paris Peace Forum; Marie Mendras, Research Fellow and Professor at Sciences Po; Viktoriia Molnar, student, and Arancha Gonzalez, Dean of Sciences Po's Paris School of International affairs (PSIA). Heritage International Protection in Wartime: the Case of Ukraine
As the war in Ukraine drags on, this discussion co-hosted by Sciences Po's Urban School and PSIA, addressed political and urban dimensions of heritage protection, in presence of the leading Ukrainian architect and scholar, co-founder of the Urban Forms Center in Kharkiv, Ievgeniia Gubkina, and the Director of the Culture and Emergencies entity of the Culture Sector at UNESCO, Krista Pikkat. They discussed with Arancha Gonzalez, Tommaso Vitale and Maxime Forest (Sciences Po). Read more.
