Apply for the Mastercard Foundation Scholarship for the Executive Master's program "Politics and Management of Development - Potential Africa"
Are you an alumni of the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program?
Do you work full-time or part-time for one of the member organizations of the Mastercard Foundation network listed below?
If you fall into either of these categories, you are eligible for the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program for the Executive Master's program "Politics and Management of Development - Potential Africa" (POTAF).
The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program covers all expenses related to your studies: tuition fees, travel between Paris and your home country, accommodation, and living expenses in Paris.
Please note: a strong proficiency in written and spoken French is required, but you can submit your assessed work in English. Your French proficiency will be evaluated during an interview.
Steps to follow:
- Ensure your eligibility for the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program by sending the following to info.mcfsp@sciencespo.fr depending on your situation:
- Either a certificate of affiliation or an employer's statement from one of the organizations listed below AND a letter of recommendation from your organization's supervisor.
- Or the certificate of the Mastercard Foundation scholarship award for your higher education studies.
- Apply for the Executive Master "Politics and Management of Development - Potential Africa" following the procedure outlined in the Executive Master's brochure before November 15, 2024.
- If you have received confirmation of your eligibility for the Mastercard Foundation scholarship, make sure to clearly explain in your motivation letter why you believe this executive training will help you achieve your goal of obtaining a high-quality, sustainable position that aligns with your personal journey. Describe how this professional opportunity will enable you to generate inclusive and value-added practices that will benefit local communities, your country of residence, and more broadly, the African continent.
- Attach your cover letter to your application AND also send a copy of this letter to info.mcfsp@sciencespo.fr
- You will be informed of your application and admission status by early December 2024 at the latest.

- Fondation SEPHIS
- Alliance Jeunesse Côte d’Ivoire
- Resonate
- Love and Hands
- Impanuro Girls Initiative
- L’Envol
- Women in Tech Bénin
In order to apply for the scholarship as a full- or part-time employee of one of the organizations above, please include a letter of recommendation from the organization’s management as well as proof of employment or certificate of affiliation.
