This programme is designed to empower employee representatives and other social dialogue actors with advanced knowledge and practical tools, preparing them for effective engagement and integration of these competencies into their professional journeys. Participants will receive comprehensive theoretical education to grasp the multifaceted challenges facing our society today, complemented by practical, career-oriented tools that anticipate the needs of a new generation of social dialogue practitioners.

Overview

Programme

The programme is structured around three comprehensive teaching modules on social, environmental, societal, economic, and financial culture. These educational components are enhanced by practical workshops and continuous methodological support throughout the programme.

Duration: 8 Hours (In-person and Online)
This module provides a deep dive into the fabric of social relations within France, covering:

  • The historical evolution of social actors, legislation, and the structure of relationships between these actors, including legislative changes.
  • An analysis of current debates surrounding social relations.
  • Comprehensive insights into Quality of Work Life (QWL), health, and working conditions.


Interactive discussions will enrich participants' understanding of the content and dynamics experienced in social dialogues between partners.

Duration: 12 Hours (In-person and Online)
In this module, participants will:

  • Examine the often contradictory demands placed on companies to balance economic performance with societal commitments, including the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and its practical implications.
  • Consider the necessary shifts in corporate strategy in response to digital and environmental transitions.
  • Learn about new roles for employee representatives concerning environmental and societal issues, particularly in light of the climate-resilience law, with a focus on current practices being implemented.

Duration: 8 Hours (In-person and Online)
Key learning outcomes include:

  • Insights into French Economic Issues: Understanding of key macroeconomic variables and their direct effects on economic, financial, and business management aggregates.
  • Risk Analysis: An exploration of the different levels of economic risk facing companies, including potential impacts and strategies for mitigation.
  • Strategies for International Value Chains: How companies can transform their international value chains. Focus on the concepts of national independence and reindustrialisation.

To tailor the learning experience to the specific interests and backgrounds of the participants, a sectoral approach may be introduced, depending on the composition of the group. 

Duration: 12 Hours (4 Hours In-person, 8 Hours Online)
This workshop is integrated throughout the training programme and focuses on identifying the key questions related to union or professional management. It supports participants in drafting their individual and prospective professional notes, which are crucial for the final assessment. The sessions are conducted in small groups.

Duration: 4 Hours (Online)
In these one-on-one sessions, participants and tutors delve into the content, refine their methodologies, and effectively structure their ideas for their prospective professional note.

Duration: 4 Hours (In-person)
This practical workshop equips participants with the skills to effectively manage and resolve conflict situations through negotiation. Participants will explore various negotiation frameworks and apply these in simulated scenarios to enhance their negotiation techniques and strategies.

Duration: 6 Hours (In-person)
This workshop aims to master the art of oral expression and pitching. Participants will learn the key parameters of delivering effective presentations and practice crafting concise, impactful pitches.
