New Archives Now Available at the Sciences Po Library
Sciences Po Library’s digital collection on gender studies is expanding! The Library arranges trial access to two sets of archives provided by Gale: the Women’s Studies Archive and the Archives of Sexuality and Gender.
Explore the Many Contributions of Women Throughout History
The Women’s Studies Archive is an examination of the social, political, and professional aspects of women’s lives and offers a look at the roles, experiences, and achievements of women in society. It covers primarily the 19th and 20th centuries and incorporates a range of primary sources, providing a close look at some of the pioneers of women’s history, a deep dive into the issues that have affected women, and the many contributions they have made to society.
Discover sources supporting gender and sexuality research
The Archives of Sexuality and Gender is the largest digital collection of historical primary source publications relating to the history and study of sex, sexuality, and gender research and gender studies research. It spans the 16th to 20th centuries covering disciplines such as social, political, health, and legal issues impacting LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer) communities around the world are included, as well as rare and unique books on sex and sexuality from the sciences to the humanities to support research and education.
The Sciences Po Library arranged trial access to these electronic resources until July 15, 2021.
