Règlement
Désireux de récompenser et promouvoir les travaux de chercheurs portant sur le XIXe siècle, le Comité de Liaison des Associations Dix-neuviémistes (CL 19) a créé un prix annuel destiné à couronner une thèse de doctorat ou un mémoire de troisième cycle portant sur le XIXe siècle (1789-1914).
Ce prix a été décerné pour la première fois en 2016, dans l’esprit du CL 19, qui réunit sociétés savantes, groupes de recherche, musées, bibliothèques et institutions culturelles concernées par l’étude du XIXe siècle.

Le conseil scientifique de la recherche historique de la Défense (SHD, ministère des Armées) vient d'attribuer le Prix histoire militaire 2020 à Paul Lenormand pour sa thèse soutenue en 2019 intitulée « Vers l’armée du peuple. Autorité, pouvoir et culture militaire en Tchécoslovaquie de Munich à la fin du stalinisme » sous la direction de Guillaume Piketty et Antoine Marès.
