Founded in 1872, Sciences Po is a highly selective research university known for its academic excellence and international focus. Every year, this prestigious institution opens its doors to students, graduates, and professionals from around the world for intensive study programmes in the Social Sciences.
The Summer School offers two types of programmes:
The Summer School inspires students to cultivate their academic curiosity as they expand their perspectives and learn to tackle today’s most pressing issues.
Courses are organised in small-group, interactive seminars that allow students to engage closely with renowned professors and other keen students from around the world. These specially designed courses allow for maximum interaction through debates and discussions. Participants in the Summer School’s University Programmes can choose the Social Sciences Track or the French Language Track.
Students can choose to take an optional elective course to explore a new topic, or to explore a new topic, or develop new skills.

The Pre-College Programmes provide an enriching learning experience that allow high school students to prepare for university studies.
This summer, students can choose to join us in France for the on-campus programme or participate from anywhere in the world in the online programmes.
The Summer School is offering high school students the opportunity to participate in our online programmes focused on developing their negotiation skills, as well as introducing them to contemporary global issues.
These Negotiations bootcamps will not only allow students to learn about international relations theories, but also put them into practice right away through role-playing exercises that include interactive rounds of simulation.
The online programmes are ideal for students who are passionate about pressing international issues, who are also curious to learn more about International relations and diplomacy.
In the Social Sciences track, students delve into Sciences Po’s key disciplines, such as International Relations, Political Science or Economics. Courses are taught in English by Sciences Po professors and researchers.
Students can also develop essential skills for their studies and the workplace with an optional academic and professional workshop.

Students can participate in the French language track to fine-tune their language skills and put them to use right away, as they enjoy an unforgettable Parisian summer.
The French language track offers courses for all levels, from complete beginners to advanced speakers. Classes focus on developing language skills, while also delving into French culture and contemporary issues in France. The core French language classes also include oral and written expression workshops.
During two and a half weeks in July, students in the on-campus programme undertake rigorous coursework in the social sciences, which introduces them to the key disciplines and methodologies of a Sciences Po education.

Master classes, taught entirely in English by Sciences Po professors, introduce students to Sciences Po’s core subjects through the study of current international issues. Tutorials also prepare students for university studies in France and abroad by introducing them to the academic methodology that they will encounter in higher education.
Elective classes allow students to delve into one core discipline, such as International Relations, Political Science or Sociology.

Students can also enjoy French culture through a social and cultural programme in Paris and Reims.
Participants will be able to study alongside other students from around the world, online and in person, and connect to an international community. In 2024, students from over 60 countries and a diverse range of academic and professional backgrounds joined the University Programmes.

Students in the on-campus programme will live in both Reims and Paris, and study on two of Sciences Po’s most beautiful campuses.
The academic programme takes place on the Reims campus of Sciences Po, located in the historic city centre and in the heart of France’s famous Champagne region.
The programme includes a weekend in Paris, where students can discover Sciences Po’s flagship campus in the historic Saint-Germain-des-Prés neighbourhood. Accommodations and meals are provided by the Summer School both on and off-campus.

July session: July 1st – July 25th, 2025
Students may combine both the June and July sessions.
Tuition Fees
One session in the Social Sciences or French Language Track: 2 900 €
Two sessions in the Social Sciences and/or French Language Track: 5 200 €
Admitted students who complete their registration for two sessions by February 28th, 2025 are eligible for an early bird discount of 200 €.
