France Stratégie coordinates a series of seminars on public policy impact assessment, in partnership with various research laboratories or institutions, including the new Agency for Active Solidarity (Ansa), the Center for Research in Economics and Statistics (CREST) , INSEE, the Institute of Public Economics (IDEP), the Laboratory for Interdisciplinary Evaluation of Public Policies of Sciences Po (LIEPP) and the Institute of Public Policies (Paris School of Economics and GENES).

Six sessions are planned for one session every two months, each with a thematic component and a transversal component. The thematic section aims to illustrate the contribution of impact assessment in different areas of public policy on specific topics (such as class size in the field of education). Areas covered will include education, housing, employment, health, crime and the environment. The transversal component will address different issues: the evaluation approach and the choice of methods, the scope of evaluation results, the place of impact assessment in the evaluation landscape (including administrative assessments), issues of access to confidential data, dissemination and receipt of impact assessment results and challenges for impact assessment.

For each session, people from various backgrounds (researchers, decision makers, practitioners), working in France or abroad, will intervene to cross the points of view.

This cycle of six seminars is aimed at a wide audience made up of evaluation practitioners, companies, associations, research and study departments of banks and insurance companies, trade union organizations, students, researchers.

According to the sessions, the seminar will be held at France Stratégie, Paris School of Economics or Sciences Po.
