This workshop aims to stimulate an exchange around several recent research experiments that use experimental or quasi-experimental methods to study inequalities and discriminations. The speakers will bring up the different types of methods used (controlled experimentation, natural experience, testing ...), the institutional and academic context of their mobilization, the difficulties encountered and the solutions provided. The debate will also focus on the contributions of these methodological approaches in understanding the mechanisms of reproduction and transformation of social inequalities as well as their implications in terms of public policies.
