A focus on innovation

Innovation for change refers to the process of developing and implementing new ideas, technologies, or methods that lead to positive transformation within a specific context—be it social, economic, political, or environmental. This concept focuses on using innovation as a tool for addressing existing challenges or inequities and creating a more sustainable, equitable, and efficient future.

Innovation for change in policy studies refers to the integration of creative and forward-thinking approaches in the analysis, development, and implementation of public policies aimed at addressing complex societal challenges. Innovation for change in energy focuses on transforming how energy is produced, distributed, and consumed to address critical global challenges such as climate change, energy security, and access to affordable energy. Innovation for change in technology is not just about creating new gadgets or software but using technology as a tool to solve real-world challenges and improve lives. In this context, technology is a means to foster inclusivity, sustainability, and resilience, while addressing global and local issues.
