Education Above all Fondation renews its partnership
On 28 February 2024, Sciences Po and the Education Above All Foundation renewed their partnership, sharing the same goal of offering quality education to young people despite challenging contexts.
In 2018 Sciences Po created an ambitious and innovative program dedicated to young refugees, which is designed to meet the specific needs of people whose education has been abruptly interrupted. This Professional Certificate for Young Refugees offers a two-year full-time program combining acquisition of knowledge in the social sciences, improvement of the French language, and development of soft skills.
Education Above All (EAA) works to ensure equal access to education for vulnerable young people and to harness the power of quality education for positive, sustainable, and inclusive change. EAA Foundation works to enable the most marginalized, particularly refugees and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), to reach their full potential, despite their surrounding circumstances.
Thanks to the renewed support of EAA Foundation, Sciences Po will be able to double the impact number of participants admitted to the Professional Certificate program by providing scholarships for an additional 60 students.
In the first phase of the partnership, 30 young refugees and asylum seekers in France benefited from the Professional Certificate Program.
Sciences Po is proud to count with EAA Foundation among the group of committed partners who make possible the Professional Certificate program, along with the Ruth Stanton Foundation, L’Oreal, Chalhoub Group, the Fondation RATP, Carrefour, Candriam and Babilou.
This renewed partnership underscores the shared commitment of Sciences Po and the EAA Foundation to providing access to quality education for young refugees, empowering them to overcome obstacles and realize their potential.
