The Centre for Research on social InequalitieS is an integral part of Science Po's international strategy implemented by the Direction des affaires internationales et des échanges (Department of international affairs and exchanges, DAIE) and the Department of Sociology.
The CRIS has developed collaborations with
- World Inequality Lab, Paris School of Economics
A research center focused on the study of inequality and public policies that promote social, economic and environmental justice. Main missions: The extension of the World Inequality Database ; The publication of working papers, reports and methodological handbooks, The dissemination in academic circles and public debates ; The development of projects and tools.
The Global Inequality Research Award (GiRA) is decerned by the WIL and the CRIS every two years. Our goal is to distinguish researchers from all disciplines who have made a significant contribution to the understanding of global inequalities.
