research interests
Mélusine Boon-Falleur’s research revolves around how people’s socio-economic background shapes their decision-making and life outcomes. Her work also covers social inequalities and barriers to climate action, with a particular focus on understanding the beliefs and behavior of political and economic elites.
Her research combines different methods, from theoretical models inspired by economics and evolutionary biology, to empirical studies both in the lab and in the field.
She obtained a PhD in cognitive science at the Ecole Normale Superieure where she defended her doctoral dissertation on the effect of resources on psychological preferences and behavioral strategies at the Ecole Normale Supérieure in the department in 2024.
