Daniel Marcelino Rodrigues holds a PhD in International Relations - International Politics and Conflict Resolution and a BA in History, both from the University of Coimbra, Portugal.
He was previously an Invited Professor in IR at the University of Coimbra, the Tallinn University of Technology, the IE University, Portucalense University, ISCIA, HEC Paris and ESSCA School of Management as well as Academic Manager for the Bachelor Programmes at the Paris campus of ESSCA. He is also an Integrated Researcher at OBSERVARE - Observatory of Foreign Relations, from the Autonomous University of Lisbon (Portugal) and has spent 6 months as as an invited researcher at the Centro de Ciencias Humanas y Sociales, in Madrid.
His main research interests are ethnonationalism, peace studies, conflict resolution; institutional design mechanisms and the right of minorities, with a geographical emphasis in Central and Eastern Europe, namely Poland, the Baltic States and the Eastern Partnership countries. He is the author of several articles and book chapters and has participated in several international conferences where he presented papers on these topics.
