On Tuesday 3 October, Joshua Volz, Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Department of Energy of the United States was invited for an exclusive dialogue with PSIA students.
In this event, he provided perspectives on energy policy, diplomacy, and research and innovation in advancing the energy transition. Under these three broad categories, Mr Volz discussed elements of the Biden Administration’s energy policies, showcasing the Department’s bilateral and multilateral engagements, and underscoring U.S. Department of Energy’s role in the research and innovation space.
The event was moderated by Prof Marc Ringel, Chairholder of the European Chair for Sustainable Development and Climate Transition and organized for students in the Master in International Energy Transitions and the Master in Environmental Policy.
