Introducing a new series : Mind mapping the European Green Deal

The European Green Deal is the European Union’s flagship strategy to turn Europe into the first climate-neutral continent by 2050. As the European Commission notes, it will “transform the EU into a modern, resource-efficient and competitive economy, ensuring:

  • no net emissions of greenhouse gases by 2050;
  • economic growth decoupled from resource use;
  • no person and no place left behind“.

This ambition implies redefining policies for many areas and sectors– from energy to agriculture – and it necessitates devising policies to manage these transformations.

The downside of such a comprehensive strategy? The overview might get lost. To keep the overview, the series “mind-mapping the European Green Deal” will summarize key policy fields and actions in graphic mind-map overviews, produced by Sciences Po students. With it, we hope to give our readers a quick and easy to access overview as well as a starting point for deeper research into the passionate topic of Europe’s climate transformation.
