The last decade has been tumultuous with regards to humanitarian crises, displacement, and forced migration. At the end of 2022, 108.4 million people worldwide were forcibly displaced as a result of persecution, conflict, violence, human rights violations and events seriously disturbing public order.

PSIA was pleased to welcome Filippo Grandi to talk about his mandate, global trends, and UNHCR's wider work for refugees. The discussion was chaired by PSIA Dean Arancha González.
