Not long ago, NATO might have been perceived as an organization not playing a key role. Then, on 24 February 2022, Russia launched a military invasion of Ukraine. Within days, the resurgence of a high intensity conflict at the heart of the European continent has caused a series of structural changes: strengthened cohesion of the Alliance, new countries applying for membership, new defense investments, close coordination between Allies, and closer cooperation with the European Union in support of Ukraine.

Guest speakers, Mircea Geoana and Muriel Domenach, will respectively provide insights of the impact of the war in Ukraine on NATO, as an organization, and on a NATO member, France.
