The School of Public Affairs and the Paris School of International Affairs are honoured to welcome Minister Paschal Donohoe, President of the Eurogroup. The Eurogroup is the meeting of the finance ministers of the euro zone member states. He will address the theme of Unlocking the potential of the eurozone's economic landscape.

After his presentation, a large part of the conference will be devoted to questions and answers with Sciences Po students.

Speakers

Minister Paschal Donohoe is the President of the Eurogroup and is the Minister for Public Expenditure, National Development Plan Delivery and Reform of Ireland. He previously served as Minister for Finance, Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, Minister for European Affairs of Ireland.

Professor Francesco Saraceno (moderator) is Deputy Department Director at OFCE-Sciences Po. He holds Ph.Ds in Economics from Columbia University and La Sapienza University of Rome. His main research interests include the relationship between inequality and macroeconomic performance, European macroeconomic policies, and the interaction between structural reforms, fiscal and monetary policies.
