Tricks and Tips for this course registration process
1. Plan ahead
At PSIA, you will benefit from one of the most diverse course offerings worldwide. Course selection is your decision and the opportunity to design your personalized course of study.
We advise you to consult your academic program’s course offer extensively.
The great majority of PSIA courses are designed as seminars to encourage interactions. As a result, course size is limited. Therefore, please prepare a list of your top choices and other options, and define several alternative course plans for each category of courses in advance. Please rest assured that student feedback demonstrates high levels of satisfaction across the full range of courses on offer.
2. Draw your schedule
Please consult the course schedules and timetables to avoid clashes and to plan your schedule. Please note that there can be minor changes and updates to the scheduling up until registration opens, so please consult the online version occasionally. Whenever an update is made, this will be indicated in the "course details" column.
3. Be on time & Focus only on one screen/window
Since course registration is organized on a first-come, first-served basis, and courses do have a limited number of places, you are unlikely to get a place in all the courses you wish. We strongly encourage you to be online for the very beginning of the registration period, at 3:35 pm (CET/Paris time) to maximize your chances to get as many of your first choice of courses.
IMPORTANT NOTE: please be aware that opening two windows simultaneously will automatically log you out of your student account, so please refrain from doing this.
4. Be pragmatic
If no spot is available in your preferred course, you will still need to register for the right number of courses in each required Course Block to ensure you meet ALL normal requirements.
Since students have until 11.59 pm CET to edit their course selection, spaces in your preferred course may become available after you complete your selection. Please do not hesitate to go back in the system to check.
