PSIA and IE-SPEGA join forces to create a Dual Master Degree in Technology and Global Affairs starting in Fall 2024
Sciences Po’s Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA) and IE’s School of Politics, Economics and Global Affairs (IE-SPEGA) are proud to announce the launch of a unique and state-of-the-art program that will create a new generation of leaders able to respond to one of our century’s biggest challenge: the growing influence of Technology on international affairs.
Whether in the form of artificial intelligence, big data, or cybersecurity threats, just to name a few, Technology is rapidly disrupting the way individuals, societies, and governments interact. There is an urgent need to offer an innovative program to equip students with the necessary tools to create and enforce effective forms of governance that will foster the transformative opportunities derived from technology, whilst mitigating a number of fundamental concerns and ethical dilemmas that it presents for our societies.
This is the objective of the Sciences Po PSIA – IE SPEGA dual degree in Technology and Global Affairs. It is rooted in the respective strengths of both institutions: Sciences Po’s long heritage of excellence in the social sciences and PSIA’s leading position in International Affairs coupled with IE’s innovative vision and entrepreneurial spirit.
With a strong mutual commitment to diversity, the program intends to welcome students from across the world to create an immersive international experience in the heart of Europe.
Applications for the Dual Degree, exclusively offered in English, are now open through Sciences Po’s Admission website. Applicants should create an account and select Dual Degree, PSIA and then click on Dual Degree Sciences Po (PSIA) – IE University: Technology and Global Affairs.
