Sh’hili Documentary Projection & debate with director Habib Ayeb, 14.03.2025

Conversations on climate change are often undertaken in abstract, as if the problem lay beyond human lives and lands on which we live. But climate change has shifted many lives too intimately, stripping many of the farms they tilled, of the trees that shaded them, of the river that gave them fish. In Sh’hili, Habib Ayeb – Tunisian geographer and emeritus professor at University of Paris 8 -brings to light the very human experience at the heart of climate change. Sh’hili is Ayeb’s seventh documentary. 

The documentary projection will be followed by a bilingual discussion (French/English).
