Aulagnon-Bettan prize

The Aulagnon-Bettan prize is awarded by MAB Finances and rewards undergraduate first year students at Sciences Po, who have an outstanding academic record, for their commitment to promoting society.

Two prizes of 8,000€ and 7,000€ are awarded to the winners. Exceptionally, one prize of 15,000€ may be awarded. The laureates are free to decide how to use the amount received.

Selection criteria

The selection criteria take into account:

  • Obtaining the "Mention Très Bien" (Highest Honors) distinction in the French general baccalaureate;
  • Academic results of the candidate of the first semester at Sciences Po;
  • Actions that demonstrate a commitment to the promotion of society. Please note that all your actions must be justified by a letter of recommendation from the structure within which you carried out your missions or any other document proving your commitment.

How to apply?

By completing this form (FR) at least by Monday, April 21st 2025.

The jury will audition candidates whose applications will have been preselected.

  • Deadline for submitting applications: Monday, April 21st 2025.
  • Oral audition at Sciences Po, Paris campus (only for preselected candidates): Tuesday, May 20th 2025
  • Award ceremony: Friday, June 20th 2025 (Cercle de l’Union Interalliée, Paris 8 – Required attendance)
