Mastercard Foundation Scholars

Sciences Po and the Mastercard Foundation have supported 140 students since the partnership was formed in 2017. The students come from different countries and demonstrate the diversity of the African continent. Since graduating from Sciences Po, they have gone on to hold leadership positions in both the public and the private sector, and to devote their daily lives to tackling  major challenges facing Africa. They now belong to a network of alumni living and working across the continent.

“I would like to thank the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program for giving me this life-changing opportunity, and the teachers and students at Sciences Po for inspiring me to excel.”

Racheal Lawrence, 2019 cohort.

“At Sciences Po, we are encouraged to make an impact. I am convinced that our degrees will provide the tools for changing the world of tomorrow. Sciences Po is also a school of life, where we learn that our mistakes don't define us.”

Eliakim Ebine Man Ngambi, 2023 cohort.
