Conference with Dr Jean-Victor Blanc

Psychiatrist at Saint-Antoine Hospital (AP-HP Paris) and lecturer at the Sorbonne, Dr. Jean-Victor Blanc is the founder of the Pop&Psy festival. From Mon Petit Renne (Netflix) to The Susbtance, not forgetting Selena Gomez and Chappell Roan, health is everywhere in contemporary pop culture. Is this a reflection of a generation particularly affected by mental disorders, or is it the result of a liberation of speech on a subject that has been taboo for too long? Through references to films, TV series and celebrity speeches, from Amy Winehouse to Euphoria and Melancholia, Dr. Jean Victor Blanc de-stigmatizes mental disorders and makes them accessible to everyone.

MUSAE - Why talk about suicide?

We often prefer not to talk about mental health for fear of fuelling the thoughts. On the contrary, talking about it can help stop them in their tracks. In this discussion with Doctor Liova Yon and Christelle Tissot, founder of the media mūsae, you learn how to lift taboos and tackle the subject. mūsae is the first societal media that de-dramatizes and democratizes mental health for younger generations. It expresses itself through podcasts, newsletters as well as content on Instagram and TikTok. www.musae-tomorrow.com.

As an introduction, Novapsy will present a report on Prevention Week.
