Immersive Programme: "European Union Institutions and Environmental Policy"
This course offers students and young professionals a unique opportunity to engage deeply with topics central to contemporary European and global challenges. With a strong emphasis on career-oriented outcomes, it combines interdisciplinary learning with practical skill development.
Participants will undertake classes focused on the EU’s role in global climate policy, led by multiple lecturers, as well as hands-on training and simulations, designed to prepare them for effective policy writing.
We aim to provide an academic environment that balances theory and practice, fostering critical thinking and the ability to assess empirical evidence.

Academic Programme
This intensive and career-oriented course offers 24 hours of interdisciplinary classes, which emphasize critical thinking and a hands-on approach to learning.
Combining theory and practical casework, the course also offers 12 hours of simulations which will prepare students to write in an effective, decisive and persuasive manner for policymakers.

Eligibility
The University Programmes are open to university students, graduates and professionals, as well as students in their final year of secondary school who will be enrolled in university in Fall 2025. Fees
- Programme fees: 2 900 €
- Application fees: 50 €
Payment of the application fee is strictly non-refundable and can only be paid by credit card on the application platform.
How to apply
The University Programmes have rolling admissions. The admission jury meets regularly, and candidates may expect to receive a response approximately three weeks after submitting a complete application.
Candidates will need to provide the following information and documents as part of their application:
- Personal information (name, address, etc.)
- Identity card or passport
- Identity photo (for a potential student card)
- Curriculum Vitae
- Academic background information:
- Certificate of enrolment or proof of current student status (if applicable)
- Academic transcript (required for current students, recommended for graduates)
- Copy of previous diploma(s) obtained (if applicable)
- Language level verification for candidates who are not native English speakers. Find a list of accepted language level verifications on the Eligibility page.
- Explanation of motivation: This is an opportunity for you to explain your goals for your course of study at the Summer School. The text space is limited to 500 words or less. We strongly encourage candidates to prepare their response in advance to give due thought to this critical component of your application, and so as to streamline your application process. Motivation letters should be written in English.
